A More Sober Easter

Bizarrely I don't feel badly hungover compared to how I was
on getting into bed last night.

I'd best avoid the booze if I am to participate in the Monopoly crawl this
coming Tuesday.

As is always the case, lots of things start springing to mind at random
for no reason whatsoever, one being the Red Hot Chili Peppers
video
as I believe it's the only pop song in the last 15 or so years
to have kazoos on it.

If anyone else knows otherwise I'd really love to find out.

I certainly don't remember Simon Mayo wanting people
to tweet suggestions for the kazoo to play at the start of his Radio 2 show.

On that very subject I bet Simon will be pleased to see his
favourite "Christian rock" act Delrious? hit the top 10 this week
after championing them for so many years.

Further proof that we really are sinking in terms of mediocrity.

I've no idea how I'm spending today due to me giving my show a much
needed break, but I guess it will involve more rummaging through
recordable discs etc where there are definitely many unwatched documentaries
I've still yet to have a gander at or listen to.

I really should look into getting some sort of archival job
or something similar.
Especially as when it comes to television news
I'd much prefer to have a rummage through original footage
rather than half inch a grainy video from Youtube.

Always worth having a go.
