Two Uphill Journeys

It's been a long and exhausting day which started off with an early visit
to the CSR studios this morning.

I could sense that things weren't up to speed and on arrival I discovered
that not only was Myriad buggered up with half the stored audio missing,
but the button to switch over studios wasn't flashing.

I thought it would be best to stick around and soon enough
Sunday's mid morning/afternoon presenter Tom Ash arrived
and we more or less got on the case.

Technical manager Chris managed to sort out the studio switcher
and thankfully we were able to broadcast the regular Sunday schedule
from around midday onwards.

I went back home indulging in a Domino's pepperoni passion,
(and further shut eye) before journeying back up at around 5pm
to present this week's Blam Jam which went fairly well.

No idea what I'm doing tomorrow although radio wise I'm looking
forward to Tony Blackburn counting down the 40 best One Hit Wonders
on BBC Radio 2.

Sadly as far as his own singing career went, Blackburn certainly
wasn't just a one hit wonder.
