Well tonight's finally arrived and I shall being saying goodbye to Ashlee at DOND night at the Undercroft not too far away from now. Not a lot has been happening today and I decided to have a rummage and found a few things that have completely slipped from my mind since starting Uni.
In the days before I had hands on experience within radio I used to create montages of my favourite jingle packages and I managed to find one here for KVVL-Kool FM in the Quad Cities. I don't know exactly what the four cities are but after producing several spoken IDs I've forgotten how good the Dallas sound is. You'll probably recognise the last two cuts that are featured on that montage!
Maybe when I get some extra bob I'll get a few more sung stuff done and maybe one or two for a few other presenters. Get those lyrics in to me now people!
I still can't really grasp the fact that tomorrow's my 21st birthday but hopefully the mail room in halls will have one or two things in there and I may have a couple of drinks later on. It seems that May's the common month for birthdays here on the radio course.
