As I type this I am at my most tipsy I've ever been after returning from my final pound a pint night of the academic year. A really good turn out as well with Sophie from Smoke Signal being present who apparently is also a fan of Incognito! Other people who were present included Jo Cave who I really must make sure I see before leaving and Sarah 'Lamby' Thompson who was the only first year student to have her feature broadcast on Smoke Radio. Apparently my London Maze feature was too dated to be played on air, but at the end of the day, fuck it, I only get stuff that I've produced played on the station more often than any of the records!
It's been a pretty good birthday really with txts, emails and Myspace messages coming in well including a message from Hit 40 UK's Hirsty on my Myspace page!
The music played at the Undies was on top form with the usual stuff i.e 'My Humps', 'Two Can Play That Game' and 'Billie Jean' alongside weird choices such as 'Jump' by Kriss Kross and 'I Should Be So Lucky' by Kylie Minogue. The night ended with me getting dragged home in a metal trolley similar to the one I used to take rubbish to the tip at ASDA, back to my flat by Steve, Sophie and her brother Stuart (if I remember correctly). This resulted in Steve demanding to get his mail even though the mail room was closed and Sophie knocking on the window of her old room in the halls. Hopefully I will see her again at Joey's birthday party this weekend. Way to leave Westminster eh?!
Now Playing: Incognito - Everyday (Well they wouldn't play that at the Undercroft would they?)
