I spent part of the afternoon up in the radio rooms where the only others present were Stewart who was transcribing an interview, and Sami who was waiting to get one recorded for her's.
Things were made a bit awkward however when the person being interviewed e-mailed and asked to do it via Skype which made things a bit harder.
The amount of progress I'll get between now and next Monday seems pretty sparse, so as soon as I'd finished grabbing stuff off the iPlayer I headed back to the flat in time for episode 1000 of Deal Or No Deal.
The banker had replaced one of the boxes for another one valued at £250,000 which gave the lucky contestant two chances to win the big prize.
She came very close until the very end where she dealt on the Banker's offer at 50 grand and ended up swapping the box she had for the remaining contestant's which had the big prize inside it.
I then ended up having a lie down and have just woken up and unsure about tonight's plans.
It happens to be first year student Charles' 21st birthday and he's asked me if I want to go for a night out in Central to celebrate. Although it seems like a good laugh I'll stick around here to save some cash although they'll be heading out rather late because of tonight's England match which they'll be watching at the Junction, so I may pop over if I'm well enough.
Otherwise, it will probably be a night of more rummaging which proves that you don't need money to reminisce.
I may take that option as I need to spend the money I've got on eating expenses. But if Charles happens to be reading this (as I know he's one of many) I'm hoping it was an enjoyable night and you're more than welcome to attend the many Undercroft do's we'll be holding at the end of the month.
Then we'll all be able to laugh and have more money in order to do so as well.
Having thought about it though, I may actually come over tonight for the football as it's the only opportunity on a Wednesday I'll get as the Soul Show's taking a break.
