Typically Topical?

Walking up to the University to get this week's spoof new recorded
really was the right idea.

It actually took me round quite a bit of Canterbury after deciding to
make the journey all the way to Morrisons to get a much needed
supply of wholemeal bread afterwards.

Next week's spoof news may be the last I do for a few weeks as
there's a lot of similar (and more importantly funnier) stuff
starting on television again such as Have I Got News For You,
and Russell Howard's Good News on BBC Three.

I've heard rumours however that HIGNFY is moving from it's
long established Friday slot and back to Thursday nights
for this series, which hasn't happened since the seires started
back in 1990.

The reason being that BBC 1 want to give the new series
of Ashes to Ashes a higher profile timeslot from what I've heard
although the first Thursday in April for which it's scheduled
happens to be April the 1st.

We'll soon see...

As for tonight, I've been looking forward to this for so long,
finally meeting up with Lamby Bambi herself, Sarah Thompson
for a chance to catch up on things and for her to put me
back on solid ground.

It's going to be a good night, if a bit hectic travel wise.
