My week (and a bit) of fun festive nights out commenced last night with CSR's Xmas Karaoke do at the Run Of The Mill pub on Canterbury's Sturry Road,
where just about all of us took part, either off our own accord,
or through being set up by others.
Notable performances include Al from the Alternative Classics show, subjected to performing 50 Cent's "In Da Club"
Not forgetting a duet with head of speech Shona on "Fairytale Of New York".
The duet of the night came courtesy of Dan Gibson and Elliot Crush,
taking on Elton and Kiki,
Whilst my contribution was a more than shouty rendition
of The Swinging Blue Jeans.
Every participant who took part got to have a go on a makeshift
Play Your Cards Right, where I ended up winning a shot
as a result of getting the joker.
I wasn't too sure about pairs being counted, mainly because it meant
we couldn't shout out that infamous catchphrase.
I went easy on the booze last night, although later this evening
I will more than likely be in a far worse state as it's Holly from
the CMP course's birthday party in South London tonight,
which I'm really looking forward to as I haven't seen her for nearly
two years.
It promises to be more than eventful, and I'm certain there will
be many fancy dress items a-plenty.
