Everything's sorted for tonight with the tickets for the Jazz Cafe, and my hotel reservation number printed out.
It would have been quicker if I had actually removed the blue sticky tape from the bottom of the ink cartridges which made me look really stupid, after getting in a rage for no good reason.
But although we've got the printer downstairs working, I still want my own one for Christmas.
When I brought the carts in Staples, I was served by a fella named Michael who I haven't seen for years and was probably the only real friend I had when at the Abbey School.
During registration all we seemed to talk about were the goings on from Smackdown that weekend, or possibly a pay-per-view wrestling event which was ideal escapism from the petty behaviour of the others.
Having said that, quite a lot of people at the Abbey loved the entertainment of the WWF as it was then.
On that note I was revisiting this year's Wrestlemania event on DVD-R last night, only this time in full vision after this now "legendary" incident at the Becmead Boys' house on the night itself.
If they ever return to the O2 in 2010 then I'm definitely going, especially as the British audiences behave slightly different from the ones in the US, by yelling "who are ya?!, who are ya!" if anyone they don't like or know enters the ring.
I'd expect similar chants, or "Clear Off To Cambridge" will be in store for Monday's graduation booze up, although I really hope that no one does anything stupid resulting in a "holy shit!" chant.
As for tonight, I'll take it easy on the drinks, especially as those at the Jazz Cafe aren't half steep.
It wil be good to meet up with Stephen again, although I didn't hear his show this week on XStream East as I was in London on Tuesday.
Having said that, Grooveline will be on Blast 1386 this afternoon, so I'll probably listen to that before getting the train over to London.
