Chilly Nov

Are we in mid-November already? Goodness.

It's certainly the case temperature wise, as my bedroom is freezing but I'm certain I'll manage
Probably a case of wearing twice as many extra layers.

Today sees the final edition of The Lunch Bunch on Wireless Radio, so best of luck to them and I hope they feel the same way I did around this time last year, when possibly the hardest practical University assignment
was done with.

Listening to it is like football, as whenever a mic gets switched on too late or an audio package fails, I end up going "Oooooh!"
Especially when Joe bless him, got Aston Merrygold from JLS's name wrong
calling him Aston Martin.

I chatted to Chris last week and he said he would more than happily undergo
G Radio again as there was so much he wanted to improve on.

I would not do anything like that again for the life of me as it took up 5 days of my week non-stop and could be really stressful.

Then again, I suppose a real job in radio would be more of the same,
but then again I would most likely be working within an established format
or show regime.

Elsewhere, I'm continuing my rummage of May of this year and I'm onto the Tuesday where Impey and The Brain made their bow, and Sami later appeared
on my own final show where things were even more chaotic.

I'm saving that show for Sunday however, partly because Groove East with Stephen's on tonight and you can only have so much soul in one day.

Having said that, I may have a listen to one of my Leroy Burgess compilations later this evening, who again I will go as far as saying that he's better
than Michael Jackson.

Such a great career spanning nearly 40 years and so little recognition.

It's not worth complaining though, as I've tons of albums and compliations to keep me occupied over the next few months.
