Mum's away on her outing and I have just finished that pork and pasta
concoction that I mentioned yesterday, topped off with apple pie and
ice cream, meaning that I really am fucking full up.
There's still half of both courses left to finish tomorrow and I've
no idea how I'm going to do so, with Mum making a roast
earlier on in the day.
I'll have to do so mind, because on Monday I'm going straight
from my first day at Folded Wing to see Incognito performing live
at the new club new Stamford Bridge, the name of which escapes me
but the event is part of London's Bluesfest.
I'm guessing Incognito only got put on the bill, purely
on the name of bandleader and guitarist "Bluey".
Still watching the Glastonbury coverage where in the last
hour there's been sets from Tinie Tempah and Paolo Nutini.
With regards to the latter he doesn't half "half-inch" his
tunes does he?
Towards the end of one of them I found myself singing
Eleanor Rigby.
But then again "10 Out Of 10" is essentially "Monkey Man"
and "Pencil Full Of Lead" is any uptempo song from The Jungle Book.
As I type, Friendly Fires are on with their tunes matching the
sunset spot on.
Whether I'll ever get round to attending the festival myself,
well getting hold of a ticket is more of a struggle than getting
to a bleeding stage on the grounds.
