I seem to have become obsessed with planning my radio shows
recently, to the point I have playlists for next month lined up.
Although part of that is because in July and August I'm ditching
all the usual features and planning to play a lot of summer related
tunes and not just those that have "summer" or "sunshine"
in the title.
Having thought about that, I am planning a slot where each
week I play a different version of "Sunny" by Bobby Hebb although
there's a better chance of me intentionally stamping on a nail
than playing Boney M's version.
No time like the present, and I'm trying to find a few rarities
to play by Patrice Rushen for this week's Double Jam.
I've played "Forget Me Nots" and "Haven't You Heard" enough
times as it is but I'll come to some sort of decision, only to
mess it up live on air this Sunday.
As for tomorrow, I plan to kill time by visiting the nearest Coinstar
machine, which I imagine will be the Sainsbury's in Canterbury.
There's a heavy amount of copper that can be converted into
worthy cash so I'm hoping it will make my credit card clearing
easier, even if miniscule.
