Waddling Winkleman

Still really grey in Canterbury with part of tonight spent watching Claudia
Winkleman's new Channel 4 series King Of of which fellow Westminster
alumni Bracey is working on as a production secretary.

It's a sort of Room 101 style show where two guests have to
state their cases for a certain topic and what the "king" of it is,
one of this week's for example being "King of Jobs".

This lead to probably the highlight of the programme where a penguin
trainer was up for nomination, who brought said bird into the studio
only to chase the pregnant Claud right round the studio.

It's a pretty solid show, although minor tweaks could be made,
namely the fact that the second guest is introduced after the break
to join the first, as opposed to having the two of them throughout
the whole show.

It's not too bad as on Monday I will be seeing Richard Herring
for the last in the series of a comedy show that knows when
it's a good time to call it a day.

Yes, the As It Occurs To Me team will be making their final performance
to a sold out crowd at the Leicester Square Theatre and I'm
hoping that "Tiny Andrew Collings" will be there in some form or other.

Then again it's quite possible that the real Andrew Collins will be there
as well, but it will be an enjoyable evening for certain.
