From A To Zurich

Granny is stopping over tonight, as both her and Mum will be jetting
off to Zurich early tomorrow morning where they will be staying for a week.

In fact Mum won't be back until after next weekend as on the weekend
itself, it's her annual class reunion.

Goodness knows how I'm going to manage, but it may be an idea
to actually share some of my cooking concoctions with Dad,
seeing as he normally forces me into his strong-tasting dishes.

In what was sort of a warm up to tomorrow's Anifest, Phill Jupitus
was one of the guests this week on Radio 4's The News Quiz
where one of the stories featured was ITV mistaking a Youtube
video of a computer game as IRA footage.

This lead to a tangent from the host about her days as Ethel
on Number 73 which Jupitus mentioned he once visited in his days
as a manager, and had a thing for the rollerskating Dawn Lodge.

It was good however that they acknowledged that Andrea Arnold
who played the vegetarian lodger is now an Oscar winning director.

It seems that the Jupes won't be far from TV screens any time
soon as Monday sees the unwelcome return of Never Mind The Buzzcocks
now on it's 25th series, and still without a permanent host.

First to take the hotseat will be the ever one-dimensional
David Hasselhoff, who has such a big ego, yet no personality.

Constantly referring to himself as "The Hoff", my advice
to him would be to F Hoff.
