Karaoke Convertion

Today's been slightly less adventurous than what I've been up to
in the last couple of blog posts, catching up on this weekend's
X Factor watching Saturday's episode on the ITV Player, and
tonight's on +1 due to walking back from CSR during the live
transmission.

And I'll be perfectly honest, this is probably the first time
I am genuinely enjoying the series as there's some really talented
contestants, and a judging panel that's actually likeable.

Likeable in the sense that they are genuine, and are far
more straight talking than Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole could ever be.

It's odd to think that when Pop Idol started about a decade ago
viewers hated Simon Cowell because of his harsh judging manner
which was quite a novelty to television at the time.

By the second series and along with American fans, the viewers
started to agree with Cowell's comments, especially towards those
with a desperate need of a reality check.

However with the dark lord now handing out millions to wife beaters,
The X Factor has been given a much needed kick up the bum,
and with the auditions ending next week, it will be interesting to
see how Gary, Tulisa, and Kelly Rowland go through the motions
of boot camp and the live shows.

Tomorrow doesn't look too exciting in comparison.

A visit to the job centre, and further searching for money earners.

Or to be more frank, procrastinating.
