An overcast day in Canters didn't get in the way of a visit to Tesco,
and listening to the welcome return of John Cooper-Clarke to 6 Music,
the latter providing aural enlightenment before heading up
to CCU to present my own show on the wireless.
It may be why my show was inferior in comparison to the
Salford poet.
I arrived back for tonight's first semi final of Britain's Got Talent
which felt more like a grand final judging by the standards of
the acts, with it being hard to call a winner.
Although to be honest I thought Mr Zip would get through
at first, until realising that novelty acts are so called
because they wear off really quickly.
Whether I'll stick around for the rest of the week I'm not so sure
although the one day when it isn't on is when I'm doing my
DJ set at the Kennington Grand Union.
So, there's a fair bit to do in preparation, burn the CDs,
buy a set of cans, and get my business cards printed.
I'd best make the most of tomorrow in terms of laying back.
