Last night's Big Brother themed CDWM was entertaining as expected
with the two Brians, Nadia, and series 10 winner Sophie Reade
providing flamboyant moments within their meals.
Having not seen any of series 10, I never understood until
last night that Sophie was as thick as dogshit, to the point
of not knowing that hamburgers were made out of mincemeat.
And the less said about her main course, the better.
It also revealed how Brian Belo really was obsessed with the series
to the point of having a drawer full of VHS tapes.
11:35 this coming Friday will definitely be a cause for celebration.
As for today, well, tonight sees the arrival of my most anticipated
TV series of the year with This Is England '86.
It's good to see the original cast back, and even Jo Hartley
returns as Shaun's mum, only without the perm.
The again I've always liked her since seeing her as the mother
in Dead Man's Shoes.
After seeing so many tweets about the original film shown
last night on Channel 4, I plan to have a gander, ad-free
this afternoon to add to the excitement.
I very much doubt I'll be disapointed.
