I'm really getting a load of nonsense put inside my head but I'm trying to take it all apart and find out why it isn't rubbish at all. One of them being the fact that different people like to communicate in different ways. I've probably known that all along but it's taken me quite a while to actually think long and hard about it.
I didn't start using MSN Messenger until the very beginning of my second semester at University and now I find it difficult not to slow down my fingering when sending a text.
However it's never that easy as I've been trying to download AOL Instant Messenger and whenever it gets to 47% it messes up my internet connection which doesn't restart until I've exited the application. So much for easy to use.
On my Facebook profile I've put my MSN and mobile number on there for a reason, because I like speaking to people and have started to value every one of them and take something out of it, negative or positive. I try to sound relaxed if a little knackered when someone rings me up in the middle of the night but in this day and age you just have to accept that if you do something that other people wouldn't be seen dead doing, you have to put up with the consequences.
It looks as if a secondary school teacher's "raising shields" theory taken from Mr Sulu off Star Trek is finally working. Back then I really didn't believe that positive things were lieing ahead because of the large amount of people who's idea of entertainment was upsetting people who didn't deserve it.
But I didn't think most of the teachers and classroom assistants understood how much it upset me and whilst it's not good to raise anger, there's nothing wrong with breaking down.
Well probably not in the same room as vulnerable people but it really means something if it has that affect.
However nowadays when I end up in tears, it's normally because of something from a more witty, dare I say juvenile nature.
