Mum and Dad will be arriving back late tonight after spending the afternoon in Yorkshire visiting Grandma.
As for me it's just been a normal Sunday starting off with Robbie Vincent's Essential Rhythms on Jazz FM where for the first time on the show, I got a mention after sending an e-mail to Robbie about the Matt Bianco gig at Ronnie Scott's which the host himself wished he was present at.
Tonight was spent watching the second of this week's X Factor outings where it was the last of the auditions where we finally saw the appearance of 21 year old Scott from Stockton On Tees who has Asperger's Syndrome.
Despite his song choice, his background did nothing to hide the fact that he had a stunning voice and that he has great potential to gain more confidence if he gets past boot camp.
My favourite bit had to be an auditionee who claimed that his brother once shot him by accident, and gave an out of tune falsetto rendition of Westlife's "Swear It Again".
I was cracking up when Simon Cowell asked if his brother shot him after hearing him sing.
Next weekend there's two more shows showing what happened at boot camp, although the one thing I'll be looking out for the most is a sighting of fellow Uni student Phil Harris, who happened to be one of those in the audience at the Hammersmith Apollo.
The main priority for tomorrow is to book a hair appointment as I really need to get it cut.
That aside, goodness knows what else is planned apart from further writing.
