Craicers In Canterbury

The last three hours have been interesting.

What started off planned as a two hours ended up being nearly three
hours as James Waters and a talented O/B team gave off a fantastic
live broadcast from the Flying Horse pub in Canterbury celebrating
not just St Patrick's Day but James' own "18th birthday".

Here's a taster of what we got up to;

Myself and James going live on Canterbury's airwaves.

Pulling my first pint of Guinness. It tasted horrible.

Live band Coco and the Butterfields.

Head of daytime Jessie teams up with former station
manager Andrew in our pub quiz.

Plenty of familiar faces showed up and it was good to see
Venning back in Canterbury, who has managed to escape from
his surroundings of Essex by getting a new job at a call centre
in Folkestone.

Also about was "overlord" Mel
who ended up with the nickname
"Judy Finnigan" much to her embarrassment, and everyone else's
amusement.

Add to that a good listener response, it definitely spurred everyone on
in wanting to do more outside broadcasts, and hopefully if we carry
on the way we are, there should be plenty more of them before Lounge
in July.
