Surprisingly I'm not hungover after yesterday's antics, especially
after downing that Guinness that I pulled.
I plan to take things easy today before going back on the radio at 6pm
tonight, maybe viewing a few more random episodes of The Simpsons
and having a read of "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff" by Richard Carlson.
I found myself having to give presenter James Waters near similar
advice at the end of yesterday's show as he was rather concious
of the tiny technical slip-ups that took place, but I kept on telling
him to "run with it, don't dwell on it".
I've had to deal with too many people who like to tell me where
I've gone wrong, and I've ended up doing the same myself towards
others for no good reason.
Tiny little mistakes don't get in the way of the fact we did one great big
bloody good show and it will be the first of many to get us out and about
in Canterbury.
Especially as we're now the only radio station broadcasting to and for
the city now KMFM have one single breakfast show for the whole county
making adding to all the other shows that are networked across the former
individual stations for Ashford, Thanet, Medway etc.
I won't dwell on that situation too much as it's quite frankly depressing .
For the time being, I'm certain that I'm currently helping out at
the most exciting and out-going radio station the county has to offer.
Long may it continue that way.
