To Central And Back

Very long and busy day ahead.

Straight after work I plan to make my way to the Christ Church University
SU bar for the CSR Elections and Awards, although I'll only be able to
stick around their until 7pm at latest as I am getting a high-speed to
Central London.

The reason being because I have been invited to a special get-together
by the producers of Sounds Of The 20th Century to meet up with both
them and more importantly some of the fellow loyal listeners who have
been tweeting every week and reminiscing as you do.

It's going to be great to put names to faces, and hopefully seeing
a few familiar ones as well having met producers Heather Davies
and Trevor Dann before.

Overall, everyone's going to have a good time, and when the final
notes of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare For The Common Man" play out
just before 11pm, I will be in more than an emotional wreck you can
guarantee.

Hopefully I'll be less boozy than I was before, especially as I'm
on a tight budget and will still only be drinking pints of water.
Not to mention having to manage on Super Noodles for tea
before I head off.
