First Of The Month, And The Night Of '97

On the footpath to work this morning I passed a yellow frog on
a nearby footpath.

Only that it wasn't speckled, or longing to jump into a nice an cool pool
so that makes it the second incomplete nursery rhyme I've experienced
in two days, following my near-decapitated finger on my left.

It wasn't too bad a day at work, I woke up just before 6am this morning
so I'm hoping that's the start of my sleeping pattern returning to form.

Straight after work however was a playlist meeting for CSR where the
usual suspects were present, notably Dan "Gibbo" Gibson who got
into a bit of a sulk when we wouldn't add the latest release
from US rockers Train onto the playlist.

A more sublime tune that turned the heads of those in the meeting
was "Charon" by Keaton Henson.

You'd be forgiven for wondering if he was related to Jim Henson
if the video above is to go by, but this could be something quite
special.

A rather late one tonight too, as it's #SOTTC night or Sounds
Of The 20th Century on BBC Radio 2 for those confused about
my hashtag.

In all fairness, I still don't know what "reem" means.

Anyway, 1997 is the year of focus looking back at a crash in a
Paris tunnel, Number 10 turning red, and Katrina And The Waves
striking gold for the UK at Eurovision with "Love Shine A Light".

No, I didn't think you could remember that one.
