I managed to see the third edition of The Kevin Bishop Show on Channel 4 continuing to make fun of television and popular culture overall.
Most of the sketches were hit and miss although there was an amusing spoof of University Challenge with the Jeremy Paxman character giving a rather overdone "COOME ON!" which I found rather amusing.
Another of the sketches included a spoof of the Thames ident and another contained a suprise appearance of the jingle used for BBC Video in the mid 80s. This rather eerie jingle was apparently composed by Roger Limb who also wrote some of the incidental music used in Doctor Who around the same time.
I personally preferred the ident with the variation of the spinning world which I think I've got on my VHS copy of "1 On One: A Day In The Life Of Radio 1".
Judging by a few of the comments below however, a few others found it pretty creepy.
