Not The Most Welcome Return

I thought it would be a pleasant return to Canterbury until I found that I had two envelopes from Royal Mail who had sent back two of my application forms that I sent two months ago because I didn't put enough first class stamps on them.
Now that's petty enough of Royal Mail to be like that with stamps but the fact that it took them two months to return the envelopes to me is absolute nonsense and I can't understand why that was the case.
I've reluctantly sent the applications forms back to the two places I would like to work for although I'm really not sure if it will even be worth it now due to Royal Mail wasting my time which could have been spent earning extra money.

I'm also fed up with people thinking that I'm going to end up how I did last year if I don't get a job this summer which is nonsense, because I'm not exactly enthusiastic about the coming months due to circumstances which have happened in the last week or so, and there's no way that's going to spiral out of control into me thinking ridiculous things on an imaginary rollercoaster ride.

It's not like there is anything positive that will come out of things the way they've been going recently.
