Today I'm making what will probably be my only visit over the Dartford Crossing this year until Christmas as I'm going to Woodbridge near Ipswich to stay over at my Gran's house.
I haven't been there for a very long time and I'm guessing it was 8 years since my last proper visit there where we went to a nearby boating lake which was enjoyable.
I also spent an awful lot of time having a listen to 105-108 Vibe FM when it was more than just a bog-standard dance station, with a stunning 4 hour disco show on Sunday lunchtimes called "Lost In Music".
That's now turned into Kiss 105-108 and I very much doubt I'll want to be listening to that or any of the other dreariness on offer.
I understand one of the other stations SGR-FM have the rights to broadcast coverage of Ipswich Town's games which hasn't gone down well with the club's supporters but then again I'm guessing that there isn't much actual coverage compared to when BBC Radio Suffolk looked after it.
Hopefully if the weather's still good I'll make a visit to Woodbridge and the nearby harbour where I used to go on boat rides with Grandad which was enjoyable. One particular time I stayed the night on one where the weather was pretty windy.
To be honest it's a rather quiet town but it will be good to return there after quite a while and visit places like the nearby meadows and playgrounds I used to go to.
Ideally I'd like to go to somewhere on the North Norfolk coast again as it really is stunning there and in warm weather it's ideal for escapism.
