"Is It Just Me?..." Well, Yes.

Writer's block is coming across again as I write this post, as it's been rather empty again here in Canterbury.
I'm hoping tomorrow to sort out my form for getting into halls early although considering the price it costs per day, I'll probably not arrive there more than a week before the semester starts.

There's a book I have somewhere which I brought a couple of years ago called
"Is It Just Me Or Is Everything Shit?" questioning the everyday things that irritate people.
At the time I found the book a rather amusing read which it still is to an extent, although it's not until the last year and especially after going into hypomania that I have started to realise that the majority of things really are shit.

This mainly relates to music, humour and especially radio, the sort of things I have to pretend to like in order to get on with everyone else at University. Add to the list ridiculous drinking games such as "Bus Driver" and "Ring Of Fire" which I can barely understand how to get enjoyment out of.

There are a few exceptions such as Stoobie who has a similar taste in cooking to mine resulting in everyone else living with him giving him stick for "only making things that are orange".
Him and housemate Denis also have quite a good taste in films as well with
"Dead Man's Shoes" being an example and the front room contains a poster for "Hot Fuzz" which we went to see when it came out and I may dig out again sometime.
Both films happen to star Paddy Considine although his involvement is just part of what makes those films entertaining.

But overall, if I'm still alive by the end of 2009 then I'll be pretty stunned as things don't seem to be looking bright at all.
