"If You Can't Stand The Heat..."

Hardly anything has been happening although finding out today that Fiona Phillips is to leave GMTV has made things a bit brighter nearing the end of a rather depressing August. I doubt I've ever seen an presenter on television who is more patronising but then again I'm barely up around that time of day.

Mum and Dad have gone off to Paris for the weekend leaving myself, Kate and Oliver at home and having do do our own cooking. Kate had a rather disastrous attempt at re-heating last night's curry by leaving it on the hob for too long and for it to more or less burn or have the juice removed from it at least. It didn't really make me feel hungry at all although I still get cravings for fizzy orange which will probably mean I have to buy another bottle tomorrow.

The final episode of "The Kevin Bishop Show" airs tonight on Channel 4 which has been a bit hit and miss although that's the case with a lot of sketch shows currently on television.
My favourite one of the series is still the send up of "University Challenge" although his impression of Jonathan Ross also has me smiling rather naughtily.

I'm hoping I'll have more of an appetite by tomorrow although it may be a case of me being fed up with certain meals made out of cooking powders.
Overall, I'd prefer them to anything made in a wok on any day.
