Whilst last night involved me being angry at the radio, tonight shall hopefully
see me in laughter in front of the telly as HIGNFY is on with Steven
Mangan making a return as the host with Greg Davies and Guardian TV
columnist Grace Dent on the panel.
That's just a warm up however, as Live At The Apollo's on afterwards
now in it's seventh series, with Mickey Flanagan as this weeks compere.
In fact in terms of stand up I'm being spoilt rotten as from the
same producers, there's a new series of Stand Up For The Week
on Channel 4, now back in it's rightful Friday timeslot.
This time however it's hosted by Jon Richardson and the show has
swapped the classiness of Koko for the brightly lit floor of the Clapham
Grand, which happened to be the venue of my first ever gig in London.
At least Rich Hall is still going to be appearing, who arguably is the
strongest comic on the show.
Not that I'd want him to be the main host, as he fits in well with
the weekly world news section.
All this will be light relief, as I'm rather tense at the moment having
just finished a tag bol from last night, and Dad being obnoxious
in the kitchen as if he's looking for an excuse to lash out.
To be fair he must have a lot of things going round in his head, whilst
I have only two things going round that just won't piss off.
One being my Xmas purchases, as the websites that offer sound production
stuff are gradually unveiling their 20% discounts and whathaveyou.
The problem being that the more I save, the more things I want
to buy with the savings.
I'm a right spoilt fucker, no denial.
