Getting excited now as in a short amount of time I will be heading
over to the Canterbury West station with a few of the CSR team to
Central London and the Radio Academy's "Taking The Mic" event.
Annie Mac's hosting the proceedings who I don't think I've met
before, although I doubt I'm the only one who believes that
she should have the timeslot that Fearne Cotton occupies in the
BBC Radio 1 schedule.
The event has sold out and I imagine that many of those
attending have submitted audio demos. I doubt we'll get
to hear all of them, but there's a chance they may skim through a few
like they did at Demo Factor at the SRA conference many years ago.
Well, they still do it now, but it's three years since I last attended
the conference, for reasons I'd prefer to forget.
Luckily I'm not staying over tonight in London, although Ryan and Mel
two of the big bosses at CSR are doing just that as they've got another
do in the same place tomorrow.
The lucky beggars.
