Very tempted to start singing the title of this blog post to the tune
of a Cher Lloyd song.
Seriously, it's disgustingly ironic, how the president of a governing body
for world football is seemingly from another planet.
Just when you thought Sepp Blatter couldn't sink any lower, he comes
out with a stupid statement suggesting that racism on the football
pitch can be ironed out with "a handshake".
Now that comment could have been misinterpreted, with Blatter
using racism to cover for bullying altogether, but it's disgraceful
for a man in such a position to come out with such comments
in the thick of what has been a bad year for racism in football.
Bizarrely enough, I don't think Blatter will resign by the end of the year.
He should resign by the end of tonight.
