I attended what will be my final Asperger's social group for the year
this afternoon as the last one's on December is on the 14th, and that's
when I'm in London to see Victoria Coren's Heresy being recorded for Radio 4.
Normally we get the opportunity to ask a question each, and mine
was about the shocking behaviour of the Chelsea supporters at
last night's Champions League match who seem to be in favour
of what John Terry did toward QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
Simply despicable, and further evidence that racism in football
is continuing to prevail.
Terry must have also been speaking to the X Factor's Kitty Brucknell
if the stories in the tabloids are anything to go by, about the Lady Gaga
wannabe making a racist remark to Derry Mensah off of The Risk.
We really are living in a conservative society it seems, people don't like
change, further threats of privatisation, and racism rearing it's ugly head
on a wide scale.
That's not to say I'm entirely innocent in all this.
Not that I want to make a habit of revisiting 2007, but during my stay
in St Martins, I ended up screaming even worse comments, when I was
restrained for not being able to go to sleep by one of the black nurses,
and that could have easily got me arrested.
Then again, it's one of the only times during that phase that those around me
may have understood that I had no idea what I was fucking well doing.
