Tonight's X-Factor was rather disapointing in terms of song choices, as the theme was Michael Jackson but most of the contestants chose to sing his inferior ballads as opposed to his more livelier tunes.
One of the exceptions to this was JLS who gave a rather good performance of "The Way You Make Me Feel" from the "Bad" album, and I reckon they're still one of the stand out acts in the competition.
During one of our presenter run through's for G Radio earlier in the week Sam said they reminded her of 90s boy band Ultimate Kaos, although they've got potential to be even better if they go even further in the competition.
The vote off this week was between Girl Band once again, and Spanish seducer Ruth with the latter staying on as the result of the public vote as the judges couldn't make up their minds again.
To be honest Girl Band aren't exactly the prettiest of people as they're a bit weighty and one of them bares a resemblance to Nadia, the Pourtuguese transexual who won Big Brother in 2004.
Tomorrow will be a rather empty with the morning spent in bed listening to what has to be the jewel in the crown of Jazz FM's schedule, Robbie Vincent who was spinning some superb tunes last week from the likes of Julia and Company, Incognito, Marcos Valle plus many others which I can't remember off the top of my head.
I wish they would sort the website out and put playlists on there as it would make it a lot easier for me and many other listeners to find out more about the gems on offer on the many shows that the station has to offer.
It's fair to say it's the perfect station from a personal level even if the Jazz FM brand is misleading to others.
