Despite a few snow storms last night it's now rather bright outside although I expect the temperatures will still be in single figures.
The plan for today has been altered slightly as the woman I'm meant to be seeing for help with study skills is unwell, so this gives me a few opportunities to get one or two things out of the way.
One of them being to go into Harrow and get my medication and possibly some CD wallets as I'm completely full up.
The rest of the day will probably be spent up in the radio rooms in preparation for my show, and there's quite a lot of other shows on before me, namely Lottie and Eric's "Razzle Dazzle" which all seems very last minute but entertaining, and new boys Chas and Dave "Not Thee Chas and Dave" who have the advantage of having an actual stand up comedian in their presenting team.
I may record some extra audio to analyse for my critical report although I'm annoyed that a lot of the computers in RP1 don't have Real Player installed on them. Thankfully the BBC are starting to realise the way forward and with the iPlayer more or less in full flow it's made listening to or watching back stuff more easier.
As for tonight it's the 2008 National Television Awards where both David Tennant and Catherine Tate are up for awards for their performances in Doctor Who. Knowing this to be a rather mainstream awards ceremony voted for entirely by viewers it can be guaranteed that one of them will win although it has to be said that Catherine's really shown her range of acting to a wider audience through the series.
And despite their rather sticky year, it's likely that Ant and Dec will win something entertainment related.
