Yes I know several people have been using that as a nickname for the paper but I really can't give a bollocks as they are taking things too far.
This article has been published where they've decided to moan about a repeat of
"Mock The Week" shown on Wednesday originally broadcast in January last year and Frankie Boyle's contribution to the final round where they had to give suggestions for "What The Queen Didn't Say In Her Christmas Message".
Anyone who is anyone should know that Mock The Week is known for being over the edge and this is a completely different league to the Andrew Sachs incident as this wasn't an invasion of privacy or other.
It's just wannabe Mary Whitehouses like John Beyer at Media Watch who want to take away programmes like this from our screens which they have the choice of viewing or not so.
The incident was even "serious" enough to be discussed on Newsnight yesterday in an interview with Mark Thompson but I really didn't think it was appropriate for presenter Emily Maitlis to repeat Frankie's exact words. In fact I thought it was just a non story overall, especially for a programme like Newsnight.
And just for a laugh and to upset any more sensitive Daily Mail writers and readers,
here is that part of the episode (6.55 to be more specific).
That will result in Mary Whitehouse exploding in her grave.
