Paying The Price

The news of Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand being suspended from the BBC is a well deserved action on the pair for what they did, although I'm hoping that it won't cause too much damage in the long run of things to come.

I've already had my two cents on the issue although it appears to be and will be the main talking point on Smoke this afternoon, and judging by what others have been saying about in RP1 there was nothing libellous or slanderous said at all as Brand did actually have a relationship with Andrew Sach's granddaughter.
It was just the stupid juvenile nature of the call that could have easily been avoided that irritates me about the incident overall.

I'm hoping that this won't have any long term effects on the careers of both presenters, especially as the BBC rely on Ross as one of their biggest personalities.
Then again judging by how long it took to deal with the phone in competitions issue which is still ongoing to an exent, it could be quite a while before the two return to Auntie's airwaves.
