In Search Of Progression

I went over to Denmark Hill as planned where there were only three children present this week due to one of them being shown round a possible secondary school.
We basically did more work creating station idents which went well although I'm rather concerned as to how this will progress over the next few weeks that I have left with them.
Ideally I would like to undertake more advanced studio based activities as it can get rather dull in quite a tiny room with the same four walls.

I'm pretty certain that those in the year that I am teaching said that they had never actually presented on the station and having heard little of actual output it can be rather difficult to understand overall what's needed. However the overall aim is to create tools that can be used on air and it can be rewarding in the end taking into account the time it takes to make them.

Tomorrow I'm going up to Marylebone again as it's the last time I'm seeing Ann, one of the counsellors who I've been to see throughout the last year and is leaving her position.
She's introducing me to someone who I will be going to see in Harrow to help me for this year so at least it won't mean as many visits to Central as there were last year.

I'm hoping I start to be more determined with how I want to go about the important assignments and managing the more stressfull areas that may start to appear.
