The CDs have been burnt and in two hours I shall be making my way over to the Powell Building to start preparing my first ever Blam Jam show due to take to the airwaves on CSRFM 97.4 in Canterbury.
I'm getting rather excited already, mainly as the show's in roughly the same timeslot as Peter Stewart's Carwash was 10 years ago.
I doubt I'll be as good.
Then again, a couple of years later it was also the same timeslot
that Barry Bethell had on his TLR/CTFM show, and we all know
what happened to him.
That aside I'm looking forward to it, broadening my playlist range and hopefully speaking to people on the phone.
That's the part I'm most excited about.
Hopefully the show and being involved in CSR will make me more determined to find other opportunities and more productive.
This is a serious opportunity with OFCOM overseeing things where according to the presenter's guide, punctuality is important where you have to let the executives know beforehand if you're going to be absent.
Hopefully punctuality won't be a problem, compared to getting my CSR ID card back.
