A Positive Start?

Despite a change in studio location, I commenced the first ever Blam Jam show on CSR 97.4 FM and really got into the swing of things.

My only problem was that there may have been a bit too much soul and funky stuff than what I normally plan to include but Andrew who was on before me, promoted the show as exactly that although I do want to expand and be more open to what I play.

The response on the e-mail was really encouraging and with more space in the studio than any I've used in the past, I really got a buzz for it all.

I may have gone too far at one point when suggesting that my Kickback Track which was UB40's "Rat In Mi Kitchin" was a "topical song" without relating directly to what I was suggesting.

Actually that sounds like one of the items from Sam Impey Talks...

No, stop it, there's no looking back only looking forward from now onwards and with a show solid on Canterbury's airwaves I'm hoping it will lead to bigger things and possible supplementary stuff with CSR.

With that in the bag, I can start being more positive about being in Canters although London will still be in my overall long term mind.

There will always be music, whatever happens.
