I really enjoyed my second to last radio show tonight at CSR for 2011,
where the second hour consisted of one long mix of tunes
by Ahmed Sirour with my incomprehensible speech reserved only
for topping and tailing the hour itself.
If it works for Jeremy Vine, then it can work anywhere else
and I may start adapting that technique of presenting for
future shows.
Only joking mind.
The tracklisting can be found via my Blam Jam blog which I've
started updating again, partly on the basis that tonight is almost
two years to the day since the show started on CSR.
I've already sorted out the tracklisting for next week's show which
will be a best of 2011 review, although 90% of the tracks I've
got lined up are ones that I haven't even played on the show before.
There's been a lot of good stuff released throughout the year
for certain, you just have to look that extra bit further, or listen
longer in my case.
I arrived home more than just in time to see Misha B booted
from The X Factor, leaving once again, a rather potent line-up ahead
of the final.
Sadly, it means we have to endure multiple "My Little Muffins"
introductions from Tulisa.
