I'm rather knackered after my early start this morning, almost to the
point of falling asleep in the bath tub.
The radio show itself went fairly well, but I need to get into
the habit of writing notes in advance, or adhere to the "one thought,
one link" procedure of doing things.
If I've planned out a link in my head over a long period of time,
then goodness knows that I am only going to fuck it up when
actually doing it live on-air.
Not to worry mind, as I'm back doing what I'm better suited to
tomorrow evening, with one hour of the show almost free of me talking
altogether.
That's because I've put together a set of tunes all produced or remixed
by Ahmed Sirour who has been consistent throughout the year, bringing
back a full-on orchestral flow to soul music.
Here's hoping for more in 2012.
As for tonight, things will be taking a not so pleasant musical direction
as Kunt & The Gang return to the Maiden's Head to play a set of not so
subtle songs including a fair few from the new album "Hurry Up And Suck Me Off
Before I Get Famous".
Whether "Mr Tupppence" will end up taking the same direction in fame
as Peter Kay is questionable, but if one things for certain, Kunt has
far more albums than Kay has sitcoms.
