"W*nk You Very Much"

The anticipated return of Kunt And The Gang to Canterbury's Maiden's Head
took place tonight which as expected sped by.

The turn out was impressive, perhaps a bit too crowded as the
occasional mosh took place although no one got seriously hurt.

The sound set-up was a tad disappointing however, due to the use of
a Tascam multitrack cassette recorder, instead of the computer used
as normal.

In fact one of the guys looking after the sound engineering happens
to be a presenter at CSR, hosting the Reggae Turns show on Wednesday
night and I had a chat with him prior to the main performance and
during the non-existant warm-up set from Belinda Carbuncle.

After Kunt had performed I immediately purchased a copy of his
new Christmas album with a few honest ditties about the much
maligned time of year.

I bought it on the basis that they were the funniest songs of the
night, but when attending a music based comedy gig, it's always
the case that you piss yourself at songs you've never heard before
and sing along with the ones you have.

The night's not quite over as I've got The X Factor to catch up
with, although I'm fully aware of the non-story of the night
of Dougie from McFly (let's face it, he should adapt that as his real name)
has won I'm A Celebrity 2011.

I may not be ready for bed just yet, but that show is surely the opposite
of my current situation.
