Soundcloud And Smell

Today's been busier than most others of recent.

The day itself was mainly spent arranging my Soundcloud page, where
I've put together a selection of audio that I've done over the years,
including a fair bit of stuff I've done this year.

That's not to say that it's a replacement for my website altogether,
far from it.

You've got to make yourself known wherever possible these days,
and Soundcloud's usage in the last couple of years has only increased.

There will be more to come on there, mark my words.

This evening it was over the UKC Campus on what will probably be
my last booze outing with the CSR team for this year.

Well, I said that last week so who knows.

Seriously, it was a birthday do of sorts for Daryl the head of speech
and fellow comedy nerd and it was good to see his co-presenter
Shona, producer Jon, and Mel and Lynsey there as well.

I did get rather tipsy and headed home before 10pm to catch
tonight's This Is England '88 which played a big part in crashing Twitter.

I won't give anything away, but it's put me on a short-term downer of sorts
and I'm not complaining.

Very gripping stuff, if not as harrowing as '86 but I'm sure episode
three will bring things to an interesting climax.

No idea what I'm doing tomorrow apart from watching the final episode,
although I'm a bit disapointed it's on at the same time as Sounds Of The 20th
Century, this week revisiting 1987.

Let's hope we get to hear Rick Astley as he should sound.
