The Red Bull Comedown (Or "Profoundly In Love With Miranda")

It's not fair.

I'm beginning to think that even after a night of only drinking water
I'd still be hungover the next day.

To paint a clearer picture, I'm still a bit here and there after yesterday
despite only drinking Red Bull, albeit really quickly.

On the plus side, I'm gradually becoming less spiteful and anxious
about things, but then again, we all know what happened the last time
I felt like that, I.E. it wasn't to last.

Maybe I was meant to be a miserable old bastard.

I was anything but that last night, as top of my viewing priorities was
the 2011 Big Fat Quiz Of The Year which was enjoyable even if not the best
ever.

But then again, the 2006 contest with Noel and Russell will be as hard
to beat as the Donny Tourette episode of Buzzcocks.

Which coincidentally also featured Noel Fielding.

Anyway, back to BFQOTY as the trending hashtag went, and I reckon
I developed a crush on Miranda Hart to rather worrying levels.

Maybe it was the red jacket she was wearing.

I won't repeat what I wrote on Twitter, but it pretty much says it all.

All the usual bits were included such as the primary school "topical"
nativities, and Jon Snow reading news stories on popular songs,
and I'm certain Richard Keys and Andy Gray will be flattered at their
brief foray in telly exposure, courtesy of Miranda Hart and David Walliams.

I'm trying not to give too much away in case anyone reading hasn't
yet seen the programme, but for the first time I actually played along,
writing my answers in a Word document.

The answer sheet itself can be downloaded here, making use of the
Chart Show/8:15 From Manchester famous Rockwell Condensed font
as you'd expect.

No funny answers though, unless you find my pathetic attempts
at answering certain questions amusing.

Or me using a "V" to illustrate a tick.

Mum, Dad and Olly are back home later this afternoon, but I doubt
that will make too much of a difference to goings on, what with more
DVD-R burning, and hopefully putting my Xmas money into the bank.
