With everyone now back at home, nothing really changed come to think of
it, I'm still burning DVD-Rs in the cellar, and ripping and labelling MP3s
of Gracenote failed CDs, mainly of radio and jingle related stuff with a
heavy dose of the late great Bill Mitchell.
The ideas of how to use them are endless, until finding out that they've
been done before by many a travelling disk spinner.
On a similar note, I've put together a Spotify playlist of my "Tunes Of 2011"
mainly of the soulful, electro, indie variety and a few odd novelty covers
thrown in for good measure.
A brass band cover of "Africa" by Toto being one such example that
had me chortling on first listen.
There's plenty more disk ripping and track labelling to be done tomorrow,
not to mention a bit of cassette transferring and noise reducing.
I wouldn't mind if it was a paid job.
