I immediatley set to work on finshing my Critical Report for the Music Radio module this morning, although just after completing it at around 10am I realised that I hadn't gone into switch the RCS playout back to Studio 4 from Studio 6 as planned two hours earlier. This resulted in me rushing over from my room and dropping my mobile phone rendering it bust and I've no idea when it's going to start working again. Having been in this situation before, I really hope it's sorted out by tonight at least.
In the meantime I finally got round to listening to last week's edition of Grooveline that I recorded last Friday which featured a superb track by EWF vocalist Philip Bailey from his debut solo album "Continuation". This was a catchy but very sweet number called "Vaya" which I'll admit made me break down although this had nothing to do with the album being an absolute bugger to get hold of. Eespecially as it's never been released on CD to date.
For most of the afternoon however I have spent a very large amount of time sampling the pleasures on offer from a site called WeDigTV.com.
In the same line as the very addictive broadband version of Bullseye the guys behind it have given the same treatment to gems such as Blockbusters featuring the voice of Pinner resident Bob Holness, Catchphrase which I am finding terribly addictive with Roy
Walker's suave tones and Family Fortunes which for some reason has the inferior Vernon Kay taking proceedings rather than Les Dennis. Then again it could be worse if it Andy Collins was hosting.
I can see this site becoming a really bad weakness over the next few days.
