Extra Layers

As predicted it is covered with snow outside but I'll brave the low temperatures to get in pretty early and continue preparing for our pilot next week.
About half an hour after getting back from the Undercroft one of the first years starting ringing me questioning my absence from Bar Footsie. I considered heading back but then realised that I'd made plenty of visits there already that night and should spend my money in a more constructive way.

This allowed me to see this weeks edition of Buzzcocks featuring a foot curling performance by Donny Tourette's who was able to prove that he is less believable as a comedian let alone a punk rocker. Especially as you've got three genuine funnymen around you who can knock you down flat including host Simon (Toby Anstis) Amstell who has put much needed energy back into the show since Mark Lamarr's departure. Also appearing on the show was Noel Fielding from the Mighty Boosh who's appearance was overshadowed by the idiotic Big Brother contestant which was bit of a let down but unlike Tourette, he can act like an idiot but actually make it genuinely funny rather than embarrassing.

Best start searching for my hat and gloves, provided they're not 60 miles back at home!
