Library Record Timing

I made a visit to the Harrow campus library this morning where I was lucky enough to get hold of the last copies of the very key texts for both the Media Technology and Media Events modules. The next step is to start reading them and although it may be a struggle I'm certain that the Brian Winston's book on Media Technology will be ten times more inspiring than the lectures on the module.

Having said that, last week there was a moment of light relief when they showed a photo from 1954 of what they expected the home computer to look like 50 years later.

Convienience summed up perfectly.

Apart from that it's been pretty quiet, save from me accidentally knocking over my lamp last night and having to buy a new bulb. It's rather big as it actually goes above the lampshade so my room probably won't look as erotic as it could. Then again I also need to get another extension lead as I have to use my existing one to plug my TV and Freeview box into the kitchen plug in order to record the delights offered by Ftn and tonight's no exception.
I may also finally get round to watching The Brit Awards from Wednesday although I'll only be watching it really for the rather dodgy jokes made by awards host Russell Brand.
