Even More Proposals

This morning consisted of a dissertation lecture looking at how to write a dissertation proposal which is pretty much straightforward as all that's needed is a summary of what the dissertation is aiming to look at, an explanation of the methodlogy, and an indicative biography as far as I remember.

Most of us were rather daunted about the idea of having 50 titles in a dissertation bibliography although we were told that they don't all necessarily have to be books as such and can be newspaper, and online articles relating to the topic.
I'm certain there's at least 10 books in the library looking at the sort of things I want to cover and I'm hoping that I still have a copy of "Interpreting Television" which I bought at the same time as "Essential Radio Skills" that has analysis of such programmes as the Millennium coverage on the BBC and a well written section on "Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway".

We're not being marked for the proposal itself although a well written one will make it easier to determine a relevant supervisor for a chosen topic.

I left for Canterbury at around 1pm arriving at 3:45 although I was asleep for most of the train journey which made it speed by.
Just after I arrived I went into town to buy a much needed CD wallet from HMV although now I've now realised I need more than one as I like to keep all my Smoke Radio audio in a seperate wallet from my internet downloads.

The bedroom that I stayed in last time has had all my stuff removed for some reason and the bed has been rolled up which I don't understand. Hopefully I'll be able to sort this out when Mum and Dad arrive home in about an hour or so.
