Well this is it, the final day of the live part of the Advanced Radio module and I'm more or less ready to go. I'm hoping everything will flow well and I'm confident about this week's outside broadcast from the Imperial War Museum after going out to test Scoop outside there yesterday with Denis.
It will be sad to see G Radio make a departure from the airwaves but we're hoping to let it live on as hopefully Stewart's well produced website will be added to the Westminster Radio site and according to Dave Sharp it's the best website we've had on the Advanced Radio module.
One thing I'm looking forward to is our guest who will be analysing the show for the debriefing this afternoon which happens to be Simon Blaxland who my year had around 18 months ago for a lecture explaining how to produced radio adverts and he did the same for this year as well back in January.
I'm hoping that after the debriefing I'll get a chance to play some audio from his past which I've kept safely, from his time at Radio 210 in Reading in the early 80s which happens to include the rather corny Alfasound jingles used at the time.
I guess it proves we've all had to start somewhere.
