Hours after the new hosts of Countdown have been announced, another question has finally got a long awaited answer, in this case being the host of the 2008 British Comedy Awards.
Angus Deayton will be compering the ceremony and he's definitely an ideal choice who will be able to continue the irreverant nature of the show, especially the opening speech which for me is the best part of the show itself.
Angus actually made his first TV appearance after his sacking from HIGNFY on that very show in 2002 which got a good response from the audience and it's not the first time he's hosted an awards ceremony having hosted the BAFTA TV Awards in 2001 with mixed results.
Hopefully they'll be showing the awards on a Saturday this year which alongside the X Factor can guarantee good ratings.
I'm starting to feel rather nervous about writing my dissertation proposal as I could end up writing any old rubbish but hopefully by tomorrow morning I'll be in a better state to write it.
I can never work on assignments during the later hours of the day but in this case, nothing is set in stone and changes can be made to what is written in the proposal later on.
It shouldn't really be too hard considering the word length being a minimum of 1,500 words.
